Nagatha Tonkins has been working with interns for over 20 years.  First, when she supervised them in her role as a morning TV anchor/producer; and later, when she was the internship director/assistant professor in the Department of Journalism and Mass Communications at North Carolina A&T State University.  Presently, she is the internship director/assistant professor in the School of Communications at Elon University where she and her student internship ambassadors update this blog.

Janat Bashir is the student internship coordinator for the Elon School of Cojanat-bashirmmunications. Janat is a Strategic Communications and French double major. As the internship office student coordinator, she strives to help her peers find the perfect internship. She maintains all of the Communications Internship office’s social media accounts, as well as compiles and distributes the weekly hotlist. Kaelyn is excited to be a part of the Communications Internship office and to work with Elon students to help them accomplish their internship goals!

Perry Elyaderani is a senior Journalism and Chemistry double major at Elon. This past summer, he interned with ABC7 Eyewitness News in Los Angeles and anchors for Elon News Network.

Paige Pauroso is a senior Broadcast Journalism major. This past summer, she interned with 8 News WRIC in Richmond, Virginia, and is a senior reporter with Elon News Network.

Alexis Williams is a senior Strategic Communications major. Last summer she interned at AKA in New York City. At Elon, she works as an engineer with ESTV and is the creator and executive producer of Laugh Tracks.
